2009 Officers Elected

The members of the Bergenfield fire department held their Department meeting on Wednesday, December 10th and elected their chief and desk officers for 2009. Robert E. Byrnes, Jr. of Prospect Fire Company No. 1 will serve as chief of the Department; this will be his first time holding this position. Bob has spent the last two years as a deputy chief. Edward Kneisler, II from Alert Fire Company will serve as deputy 1. Norman Hoyt, Sr. from Bergenfield Fire Company No. 2 will serve as deputy 2. In 2009, Christopher Naylis will serve as president of the Department along with Jerry Naylis as vice-president. Nancy Naylis will return as secretary and Rich O’Connor will be the new treasurer. The 2009 line officers will remain relatively the same as in 2008. Jim Lodato of Prospect, Mike Lopez of Alert and Jason Lanzilotti of Fire Co. 2 will all return as Captains. Andrew McGoldrick is the new Lieutenant from Prospect, while Chris Saito of Alert and Norman Hoyt, Jr. of Fire Co. 2 return as Lieutenants. |
